     Terry Carlton Gilbert, age 63, St. Cloud, MN, died Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Veterans Administration Health Care Center, Minneapolis, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Calvary Community Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial with full military honors will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Terry was born December 5, 1954 in Griffin, GA. He served 3 years in the United States Marine Corps and over 26 years in the United States Army. Terry married Tammy D. Harris on September 25, 1999 in St. Cloud, MN. He worked part time at Menards, Waite Park, MN for 4 years. Terry was a member of Calvary Community Church.
     Survivors include his wife, Tammy Gilbert of St. Cloud, MN; son, Nicollie Carlton Gilbert of Orlando, FL; daughter, Jessica Sun Gilbert of Casselberry, FL; sister, Shirley Mae Gilbert of Chester, PA; 5 grandchildren; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Peter and Kattie Butler, Jr. of Baton Rouge, LA; brother-in-law, Johnny Harris; sister-in-law’s, Amanda Harris Johnson and Katina Harris all of Baton Rouge, LA and many nieces and nephews.
     He was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Gilbert; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
     Memorials are preferred.
     Pallbearers will be Torrence A. Horton, Alvin Thomas, Kenneth Butler, Reginald Thomas and Ahmond Fertrell.
