Tamico Gavine Lawary (Johnson) was born March 1, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois, to Martha and David Johnson. She attended Phillips High School and graduated in 1984. Tamico was a member of St. James Church of God in Christ, under the leadership of Percy L. James. She served as an usher. Tamico accepted the Lord as her personal Savior in 1989. Tamico moved to St. Cloud, Minnesota in 1999 where she later joined New Way Baptist Church. She also served as an usher and she loved to cook and help others. Tamico had a heart of gold.
Tamico met Eric Lawary, Sr. in 1999, and married him on August 30, 2008.
Tamico is the oldest of five siblings. Her father, David Johnson, proceeds her in death.
Tamico leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Eric Lawary, mother Martha Johnson, sisters Monique Johnson and Tiffany Jefferson, brothers Terrance, Keith and Kevin Johnson, children Shameka (Tracy) Donnie, Jamaul, Talisa, Felicia, Brenda, Craig, Erica, Eric Jr. and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who love and miss her dearly.
