Wesley R. “Wes” Olsen, age 59, of St. Cloud passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home. A memorial gathering celebrating Wes’ life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 12205 West Lake Road, Rice. Funeral Arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Wes was born on July 9, 1958 in Grand Rapids, MN. He spent many years working as a diesel mechanic. He married Ann Donegan on April 18, 1992 in Cold Spring, MN. Wes enjoyed fishing and woodworking, but his greatest joy was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Ann; children, Brian (Angie) Olsen, Steven Olsen, Jess (Sam Derosier) Olsen, and Jonathan Olsen; father, Ernest Olsen; 8 grandchildren; 4 brothers; and 5 sisters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Pierce) and son, Christopher.
