| Genevieve Mae (Pack) DeCourcy, RN, went home to be with our Lord July 8, 2005. Born October 17, 1912, in Paton, Greene County, IA, and grew up in Walnut Grove, MN. She was 92 years old. Mrs. DeCourcy and her husband, Rev. Frank L. DeCourcy, served United Methodist Churches in the metro area and in southwestern Minnesota 1937-78. For 14 years after retirement, Mrs. DeCourcy volunteered in the Minnesota Methodist Conference office in Minneapolis. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers, and two sisters. Survived by sister Lolita Gremmert of Duluth, daughter Annette Towler of St. Cloud, son Dean (Sandy) DeCourcy of CA, foreign son Reas (Ruth) Brunnert of Switzerland, 5 grandchildren (Nan Towler, John Towler, Cheryl [Russ] Krichbaum, Jennifer [Dave] Peck, and Heather [Jay] Janda), and 5 but soon to be 7 great grandchildren (Andrew Towler, David Krichbaum, Alexander Peck, Brandon Peck, Colby Peck, and the Peck twins due to join us any day). Memorials preferred to Minnesota Conference United Methodist Church Pension Fund or Richfield UMC. |
