     Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Dolores A. Winter, 87 of Sartell, formerly of St. Cloud, will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Fr. Thomas Knoblach will officiate, and burial will take place at Assumption Mausoleum. Dolores died Monday, February 19, 2018 from Alzheimers at Country Manor in Sartell surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. Visitation will be Friday, February 23, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
     Dolores was born October 26, 1930 in Luxemburg, MN to Al and Genny Mohs. She was the oldest of 9 children and a graduate of Cathedral High School. Dolores worked in the Twin Cities before marrying Virgil Winter June 5, 1952 in Luxemburg, MN. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to family. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Christian Women and Catholic Aid. Dolores was a volunteer at Treasure Chest and for RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). She was known as a caring, forgiving and generous person as well as a beautiful seamstress and talented quilter. Dolores played organ, enjoyed cards, puzzles, hosting the family garage sale. She faced her disease with grace and courage.
     Survivors include daughters and son, Vonnie (Ken) Dietman of Clearwater, MN; Cheryl (Jeff) Nelson of St. Cloud, MN; Cindy (Mert) Eckes of Sartell, MN; Jennifer (Rick) Karczewski of Brandon, FL; Tim Winter of Brandon, FL; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers, Sadie Kunkel, Eileen Roeder, Dodie Ruegemer, Carol Ryczek, Harvey Mohs and Al Mohs.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Virgil on March 5, 2011, and brothers Bill and Gordon Mohs.
     Donations will be made to Alzheimers Research.
     The family would like to thank Country Manor staff for the care they gave our mother.
