Melvin Frank Glader, age 88, Sartell, MN, formerly of Cloquet, MN, died Sunday February 4, 2018 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
There will be no funeral services as per Melvin’s request. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Melvin was born August 28, 1929 in Cloquet, MN to Frank and Anna (Lund) Glader. He Married Donna M. Peterson on August 1, 1950 in Cloquet, MN. Melvin served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Reserve. He worked as a shift supervisor for Conwed and later USG for over 30 years.
Survivors include his sons, Kerry (Barb) Glader of Sauk Rapids, MN; Greg (Laurie Warren) Glader of St. Cloud, MN; daughter, Merrie (Lyle) Olson of Stanley, NY; Laurie Glader of Burtrum, MN; sister, Doris Haataja of Duluth; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna; and grandson Benjamin Olson.
