Doris Johnson, age 81, Sartell, MN, formerly of St. Cloud, MN died Monday, June 27, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 30, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Peace United Church of Christ, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Hal Spann will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29, 2005 from 4 to 8 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Doris Johnson was born February 7, 1924 in Boston, MA to Chester and Olga (Nyberg) Musgrave. She married Donald F. Johnson on May 24., 1947 in Roslindale, MA. Doris worked at the St. Cloud Hospital information desk for over 20 years. She was a member of Peace United Church of Christ, Peace United Women’s Fellowship Group and PEO. Doris also volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Survivors include sons, Chet Johnson and wife, Karen, of Sartell, MN; Glenn Johnson and wife, Dottie, of Buffalo, MN; three grandchildren, Chad Johnson and wife, Caroline; Chrissy Beack and husband, Nate; and Stephanie Johnson; and three great grandchildren, Easton Johnson, Josh and Adam Beack.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald, on April 24, 2003; son, Donald, on February 9, 2003; sister, Ruth Perry, and brother, Chester Musgrave.
Memorials are preferred to Peace United Church of Christ. |
