Muriel “Boots” Delores Jones, age 93, Sauk Rapids, MN died Monday, December 25, 2017 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Funeral Services will be at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, Sauk Rapids, MN on Monday, January 8, 2018 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Private family interment will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Muriel was born November 28, 1924 in St. Cloud, MN to Clarence and Clara (Thole) Fish. She graduated from Tech High School in 1942. Boots worked for many years as a bookkeeper for National Bushing, St. Cloud, MN retiring in 1987. She enjoyed flower gardening, music and spending time with her brother and sister at Big Watab Lake. Boots had a steady hand for fine crafts.
Survivors include son, David (Karen) Johnson of Sartell, MN; brothers and sisters, Donald Fish of Sartell, MN; Clarence Fish of Waite Park, MN; Joyce Anderson of Clear Lake, MN; Alice Lucas of Sartell, MN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Gail Stein and Frances Lease and brother, Bernard Fish.
Memorials are preferred to Good Shepherd Lutheran Foundation
