     Edward Albert Keyser, age 70, of St. Cloud, MN, died September 3, 2017 at the St. Cloud Hospital of long term medical issues. A private family service will be held, internment to follow at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN.
     Edward (Ed) was born on September 29, 1946 in Baltimore, Maryland to Howard and Florence (Webber) Keyser. He would later go on to marry the love of his life, Mary (Sordahl) of Willmar, MN on September 3, 1966. Together they raised two beautiful daughters Linda (born in 1967) and Heidi (born in 1969). He served in the United States Air Force for 23 years (1964-1987). After his Honorable military service Ed was a Veterans Affairs Rehab Psychologist until his retirement in 2001. Ed had many passions in life; his family, writing, reading, NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employees), VFW, Eagles Club member, all Technologies, Eagles, Civil War History, and of course Mickey Mouse were just a few of those passions. He was very passionate about discovering his and his wife’s ancestry and tracing their family lineages.
     He is survived by his wife Mary of 51 years; daughters, Linda (Don Bolton, special friend) Keyser of Sauk Rapids, MN, Heidi (Allen) Smith of Sauk Rapids, MN, grandchildren Vicki (Jason) Clark of Waite Park, MN, Sara (John) Schutz of Sauk Rapids, MN, Staci (Tim Squires) Smith of Sartell, MN, and a great grandson, Seth Schutz of Sauk Rapids, MN, besides other relatives and friends.
     He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, parents, brother, two grandchildren Melanie (Smith) Schueler and Aaron Smith.
     Edwards’ family would like to thank the V.A. Hospital and the St. Cloud Hospital for the care that he received.
