     Don Marberg age 76, St. Cloud, MN, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Talahi Care Center, St. Cloud, MN after a courageous six-year battle with PSP (Progressive Supranuclear Palsy). In an effort to help in the elimination of this awful disease, his brain is being donated to the PSP Brain Bank in Jacksonville, FL.
     Memorial services will be Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 2405 Walden Way, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
     Don was born June 22, 1940 In Wadena, MN to Sye and Katherine (Hancock) Marberg. He graduated from Wadena High School in 1958 and St. Cloud State University in 1962. Don served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1967 and was stationed on the East Coast on the USS Kankakee. On July 8, 1967 Don was united in marriage to Rosanne Thene in St. Cloud, MN. He was employed by Burroughs, Shared Medical in sales and also owned and operated the Packaging Store and U. S. Records.
     Survivors include his wife, Rosanne Marberg of St. Cloud, MN; son Rick (Annalise) Marberg of Zimmerman, MN; daughter Kathy (Jeremy) Rothstein of New Hope, MN; brother Richard (Carol) Marberg of Great Falls, MT; and six grandchildren, John (fiancée Anna Royce), Basil, Gavin, Rianna, Fisher and Lillian.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Bruce.
     The family would like to extend a special thank you to Talahi Nursing Care and St. Croix Hospice.
