Kelly Ruth Thomes, age 52, Cold Spring, MN, died Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Care Center after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Kelly was born May 17, 1964 in Superior, WI to Joseph and Louann (Frolen) Economy. She attended school in Hibbing and St. Cloud, graduating from St. Cloud Technical High School and St. Cloud Business College. Kelly married Scott Thomes in 1988; they later divorced. She has been office administrator for Edward Jones for more than twenty years. Kelly was a member of Salem Lutheran Church.
Kelly is survived by mother, Louann Folkerts, brother, Michael Voit and wife, Becky, all of St. Cloud, MN; niece Jenna Czech and husband Jonny, grandnephew and Godchild, Charles Czech of St. Joseph, MN; step sisters, Lori Meemken and Shelly Danziesen of St. Cloud, MN; step brother, Stan Folkerts of Rockford, MN; aunts, cousins and friends.
Memorials are preferred.
