    Evelyn Mae Muller, age 91, St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, January 2, 2017 at her home.
    Visitation will be Friday, January 6, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud MN. There will be a Time of Sharing at 6:30 PM. Burial will be at a later date in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
    Evelyn was born September 23, 1925 in Brainerd, MN to Clarence and Anna Beth (Britton) Shepherd. She graduated from Brainerd High School and after graduation was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone. On October 11, 1947 Evelyn was united in marriage to Jacob “Jack” Muller at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd, MN. Jack’s military career led them to live throughout the United States. The family retired to St. Cloud in 1970. Evelyn worked for several years at J.C. Penney’s. She enjoyed traveling with Jack in their various RV’s, playing card games and board games (especially Scrabble), and shopping.
    Survivors include son, Jay (Sandra) Muller of Richmond, MN; daughters, Sherry (Tom) Berger of Colorado Springs, CO; Gail (Ronald) Walz of Sauk Rapids, MN; Kim (Bruce) LeBlanc of Sauk Rapids, MN; sister, Donna Johnson of Lewisville, TX; 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jacob “Jack” Muller; infant son, Larry Eugene; sister, Margaret Schwendeman; and brothers, Warren and Donald Shepherd.
