     Susan “Sue” Jean Clark, age 70, St. Joseph, MN died Saturday, November 5, 2016 at her home in St. Joseph.
     A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, November 11, 2016 from 10:00 to 11:30 AM with a Sharing of Memories at 11:30 AM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. Entombment will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Sue was born May 16, 1946 in Oak Park, IL to Raymond J. Sr. and Nettie (Goldsworthy) Wendt. She married Allen Clark in 1968 and they later divorced. In 1993, Sue met and began dating Dale Philippi. They quickly became best friends and have been together ever since. As an adult, Sue worked as a personal care assistant for family and individuals who became very close family friends. She also owned and operated an antique store with Dale that became known as “The Shop”. Sue loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of all of her family and friends. She loved collecting old items to add to her antique collections. Sue saw beauty in everything.
     Survivors include her best friend, Dale Philippi of St. Joseph, MN; sons, Shawn (Kathy) Clark of Sartell, MN; Gary (Lisa) Clark of Oak Park, MN; Jason (Linna) Clark of Sauk Rapids, MN; brother, John (Donna) Wendt of St. Cloud, MN; and twelve grandchildren, Amber, Aaron, L. J., Michael, James, Tyler, Ryan, Cody, Rachael, Sonja, Nickolas and Journey.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond “Mickey” Wendt and Bill Wendt; sister, Sally Kroc, and father-in-law, Celestine Philippi.
