    Elizabeth “Betty” Mae Voigt, age 89, of St. Augusta, died Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta, MN. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in St. Augusta, MN and from 9:00-10:00 AM at the church on Thursday. Parish prayers will be said at 6:30 PM Wednesday followed immediately by the Christian Women Rosary. Burial will be in St. Mary Help Christians Cemetery, St. Augusta, MN.
     Elizabeth Mae Voigt was born on May 3, 1927 in Rock Valley, IA to Leo and Marguerite (Butler) Sandschulte. Betty was married to Leonard Voigt on January 25, 1947 in Santa Barbara Mission, CA. She was a member of St. Mary Help of Christians Parish, Downey Catholic Women’s Guild, St. Ann’s Christian Women, and Nocturnal Adoration, St. Augusta. Betty enjoyed quilting, handwork, reading, baking, and stamping her own cards.
     Survivors include her sons and daughters, Edward Voigt of St. Augusta, MN; Fr. Richard Voigt of St. Augusta, MN; Gregory (Marina) Voigt of St. Cloud, MN; Douglas (Krystyna) Voigt of Downey, CA; Thomas (Michelle) Voigt of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; Joseph (Anne) Voigt of Lillehammer, Norway; John (Cindy) Voigt of Cold Spring, MN; Donna (Jim) Jones of Prescott, AZ; Mary (Ron) Peters of St. Cloud, MN; Laura (Scott) Hetrick of Steamboat Springs, CO; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard; son, Robert; and sister, Ruth Sands.
     In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Mary Help of Christians Parish or the charity of the donor’s choice.
