     Vivian Emma Johnson, age 88, St. Cloud, MN died Thursday, April 14, 2005 at St. Benedict’s Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Monday, April 18, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Salem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Wayne Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Vivian Johnson was born February 8,1917 in Lake City, MN to Leonard and Katherine (Wiebusch) Dose. She married Ansley Johnson on July 3, 1942 in St. Louis, MO. Vivian graduated from the School of Agriculture at the University of Minnesota and then from the Bethesda School of Nursing in St. Paul, MN. She was employed as a registered nurse of Methodist Hospital in St. Louis, MO and then St. Cloud Hospital. Vivian also worked at St. Benedict’s Center and St. Scholastica Convent. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church. Vivian enjoyed caring for people, flowers, reading and traveling.
     Survivors include her husband, Ansley Johnson of St. Cloud, MN; son, Ansley W. (Theresemarie) Johnson, Jr. of Plymouth, MN; daughters, Bonnie (Bryon) Strei of Rochester, MN; Deborah Johnson of Chandler, AZ; Candace (Steve) Thompson of New Brighton, MN; sister, Cathryn (Harold) Olson of Manchester, Maine; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
     She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Victor Dose.
     Memorials are preferred to Salem Lutheran Foundation.
