     William Neale Bellamy, age 76, St. Cloud, MN, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
     Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 2016 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Cathedral Lower Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
     Neale was born July 13, 1940 in Drayton, ND to William and Mary (Johnston) Bellamy. He attended a one-room school until 9th grade and graduated in 1958 from Drayton High School Neale attended the University of North Dakota and earned a B.S. in education in Industrial Arts. He later earned his Master’s in Education from St. Cloud State University.
     Neale was hired in 1962 by the St. Cloud School District and worked for 36 years. He taught Industrial Arts as well as Vocational Technology. On July 10, 1965, Neale married Margaret “Meg” C. McLaughin in Burlington, IA.
     Neale loved to travel with Meg, having visited 5 continents. He also was an avid Husky hockey fan. Besides being an excellent entertainer and host, Neale and Meg loved to cook. Many friends savored his homemade breads and pizzas in the brick pizza oven he made from scratch. He worked hard and played even harder.
     Survivors include his wife, Meg Bellamy of St. Cloud, MN; son, John (Robin) Bellamy of St. Paul, MN; and granddaughter, Grace.
     He was preceded in death by his parents.
     Memorials are preferred.
     The family wished to thank the staff at St. Cloud Hospital, especially those in the ICU, for their care and support of Neale.
