    Lillian “Lil” Ida Kuebelbeck, 89
    Columbus, Ohio
    formerly of St. Cloud, Minnesota
    July 2, 1926 - August 22, 2015

Lillian "Lil" Ida Kuebelbeck, 89, formerly of St. Cloud, Minnesota, passed away at home, surrounded by her family, August 22, 2015, in Columbus, Ohio. Lillian was born July 2, 1926 to Joseph and Irene (McDermott-Lietz) Horsch, in St. Joseph, Minnesota. She graduated from St. Cloud Tech High School in 1943, and married Frederick Anthony Kuebelbeck, the love of her life, on June 29, 1948.
After raising their four daughters, Lillian worked in St. Cloud, Minnesota for Monumental Sales, Holes-Webway Company, and retired in 1991 after working for Piper Jaffray for 13 years in the investment business.
Lillian loved spending time with family and friends, traveling the world, sewing and quilting, golfing, hiking, and being of service through the St. Mary's Catholic Cathedral in St. Cloud, Minnesota. For the past 20 years she created beautiful handmade quilts for the yearly raffle that helped fund many outreach programs for the church. She also loved ice cream, hotdogs from the St. Joe Meat Market, watching the Minnesota Twins, and attending Jazz Festivals with her sisters. Her final bucket list item was to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, which to her amazement and joy, she did in 2014 with her daughter, Julie.
Lillian is survived by her daughters, Janice (William) Dietman, Julie (Rosario) Interrante, Victoria (John) O'Connor, and Michele Benson; grandchildren, Emily Dietman, Dann (Rachelle) Albright, and Aaron Benson; sister, Dolores Gober. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Fred, parents, brothers Delphin and Johl, and sisters MaryAnn Hardie, and Gladys Kammeier.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 28, 2015 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud, Minnesota, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Donations will be made in Lillian's honor to Hospice.
