Grace Ann Forner, age 92, St. Cloud, MN, formerly of Avon, MN, died Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Bloomington, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Holdingford, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery, Holdingford, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Grace was born July 27, 1922 in Holdingford, MN to Tony and Ann (Fedor) Pyka. She was a 1941 graduate of Upsala High School. On November 10, 1945 Grace married Arnold Benedict Forner at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Holdingford, MN. She was a member of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, St. Hedwig’s Rosary Sodality, and St. Mary’s Christian Mothers. Grace was also a member of Holdingford American Legion Post #211 Auxiliary, St. Cloud Disabled American Veterans Chapter #9 Auxiliary, and a life member of St. Cloud VFW Post #428 Auxiliary.
Survivors include daughters, Donna (Jim) Leyk of St. Cloud, MN; Dyann Wells of Sauk Rapids MN; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arnold on October 20, 1997, and sister, Pearl Hill. |
