Carol Catherine Krueger, age 77, of St. Cloud passed away peacefully at her home on July 25, 2015.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Carol was born on August 22, 1937 in St. Cloud to Herbert and Genevieve (Schmid) Martini. She was married to Willard Krueger in 1956 in Robbinsdale, MN. She worked at Kmart for 16 years. Carol was an avid reader, had a wonderful sense of humor, wrote poetry, did oil paintings. She loved the fall, the MN Vikings, the North Shore and time with her family. Carol also followed politics closely and was known to call C-SPAN with her opinions.
Survivors include her husband Will of St. Cloud; daughter, Catherine Green of St. Cloud; granddaughter, Ashley Green of Hopkins; brothers, David (Dottie) Martini of St. Cloud and Robert (Mary) Martini of St. Cloud; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved sister, Joyce Grimsley; infant sister, Mary and her favorite dog, Shadow.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her niece Carol Ann Grimsley for all the help she has provided Carol recently.
