Arleen Eva Johnson, age 82, St. Cloud, MN died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 19, 2005 at 2:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Stacey Steck will officiate. Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2005 from 4 to 7 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in Benton County Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN.
Arleen Johnson was born March 27, 1922 in St. Cloud, MN to Enoch and Esther (Carlson) Johnson. She was employed by Baston Chevrolet and then by Prudential Insurance Agency for 25 years. Arleen was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a former deaconess. She was also a member of AAUW and a charter member of the Atwood Memorial College Fund.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Michael Johnson, Karen Jones, Judith Hafeman, Douglas Johnson, Carol Orwig, Sam Larson, Susan Sanders, Steven Larson, Julia Adams, Kim Jones, Walter Jones, Michael Johnson and Robert Hively-Johnson; sisters-in-law, Mary Johnson of St. Cloud, MN and Geraldine Abbotiello of Chicago, IL.
Arleen was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Lionel, Milton, Douglas, and Allan Johnson, and sister, Lorraine Larson.
Pallbearers will be Sam Larson, Steven Larson, Cody Adams, Adam Larson, Paul Larson, Douglas Johnson, Bill Jones, and Lyle Adams. |
