Alfred Arthur Haugen, age 84, Sauk Rapids, MN, died Monday, May 18, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud MN. Visitation will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in North Star Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
Alfred was born August 7, 1930 in Knoxville, TN to Arthur and Nobie (Fortson) Haugen. He married Anna Lou Weyhrauch on April 21, 1951 in St. Cloud, MN. Alfred was employed by Great Northern Railroad and the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Survivors include sons, Kevin Haugen of St. Cloud, MN; Keith (Susan) Haugen of Sauk Rapids, MN; Kurt Haugen of Waite Park, MN; Kelly (Pam) Haugen of St. Cloud, MN; Kenneth (Diane) Haugen of Sauk Rapids MN; Kris (Traci) Haugen of St. Joseph, MN; Alfred “Scooter” (Teri) Haugen of Olivette, MO; daughters, Karen (Bob) Groettum of Indian Rocks Beach, FL; Kim (Tony) DeLuca of Miramar, FL; Kathy (Paul) Heckman of Sparta, NJ; Kari (John) Best of DesMoines, IA; Kristina “Tina” (Pat) Cavanaugh of St. Charles, MO; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Anna Lou on January 15, 1985, daughter, Kristi and sister, Joyce Ritzer. |
