Edward F. Repulski, age 90, of Sauk Rapids, MN died Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sauk Rapids, MN. Rev. Paul Cloeter will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church on Wednesday. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sauk Rapids. Military Honors will be provided by the Sauk Rapids American Legion Post 254. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Ed was born May 7, 1924 in St. Cloud, MN to Fredrick and Minnie (Sova) Repulski. He was raised in Sauk Rapids and graduated from Sauk Rapids High School. Ed served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force during WWII. He was married to Donna Kernan on July 21, 1951 in Bemidji, MN. Ed owned a Texaco Service Station in Sauk Rapids for several years. He later became a Corrections Officer at the St. Cloud Reformatory for 19 years retiring in 1983. Ed was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the American Legion Post 254 and the Reformatory Retirees Association. He loved to fish with his wife Donna and enjoyed deer, pheasant and duck hunting as well as training dogs for duck and pheasant hunting.
Survivors include his daughter, Judy (Scott) Lazer of Sauk Rapids, MN; sister, Norma Hall of Sauk Rapids; 3 grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Bridgeford; Jordan (Christina) Lazer; and Jared (Jillayne) Lazer; and 6 great grandchildren, Matthew and Alexandra Bridgeford, Audrey, Peyton and Parker Lazer and Juliette Lazer with a seventh great grandchild to be born in June.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Donna Mae; brother, Harold; and sisters, Rachel Rogoscheske and Natalie Spaeth.
