     Nancy N. (Scott) Fitch, age 77, Sartell, MN, died, Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Sterling Park Health Care Center, Waite Park, MN.
     Celebration of her life services will be held Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Hope Covenant Church, 336 4th Ave. S., St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Hope Covenant Church and from 9:30 to 11:00 AM Friday, April 3 at the church. Burial will be in Niggler Cemetery, Osseo, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Nancy was born March 22, 1938 in Greenwood Township, Hennepin County, MN to Thomas Henry Jr. and Marguerite (Cook) Scott. She attended Osseo Public Schools for 12 grades and graduated from there in 1956. After graduation Nancy attended Minneapolis School of Business for switchboard training. On April 13, 1957 she married the love of her life, Raymond Wesley Fitch, at the Church of the Nazarene in Osseo, MN. They had three children, Daniel, Susanne and Jody.
     Nancy worked as a switchboard operator for Pioneer Suburban Phone Company of Osseo, MN. She was also a foster parent for Hennepin County and Stearns County for about 25 years. During that period of time, she along with her husband, Ray, cared for about 30 severely disabled children. Nancy worked along with her husband, Ray, as owner and manager of Granite City Schwinn Bicycle Shop. She also owned and managed Milky Whey Antiques at Hasty, MN for about 10 years. Later Nancy had booths in other antique malls in the St. Cloud area. She had an Ebay store selling books and antique paper goods.
     Her interests included family and friends, story telling, genealogy, writing her life story, scrap booking and making greeting cards.
     Nancy accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and has led a life of devotion to him since that time. She was an active member of Hope Covenant Church where she mentored and facilitated classes for women for about 20 years. Nancy was also the devotional leader at Riverside Inn’s scrapbook retreat for many years.
     Survivors include her husband, Ray of Sartell, MN; son Dan (Holly) Fitch of Monticello, MN; daughters, Sue Thomas of Oak Grove, MN; Jody Krueger of Waite Park, MN; foster son, Thomas Erlandson of Starbuck, MN; grandchildren, Sara (Shaun) Gimberline, Becky (Shawn) Markham, Nicholas (Amy) Fitch, Andrea Thomas, Miranda Connors, Amber Lamar, Aubrie and Micah Krueger; great grandchildren, Stella and Sullivan Gimberline, Havana Markham, Ava and Sophia Foshaug, Franklin Fitch and Logan Connors; sisters, Shirley Van Hoover of Port Townsend, WA; Harriet Halloway Voss of Olympia, WA; sister-in-law, Barb Scott of Isanti, MN; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, David Scott.
