Viola Siekman, age 96, Sauk Rapids, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Ridgeview Place, Sauk Rapids, MN.
A Celebration of Viola’s life will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Ridgeview Place, 1009 10th Ave. NE, Sauk Rapids, MN. Burial will be in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery, Matteson, IL. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Viola Siekman was born on April 25, 1918 to Ernst and Olga Kampe of Matteson, Illinois, was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Richton Park, Illinois, graduated from Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and Thornton Township High School, was married to Raymond Siekman on October 20, 1940 for 68 years, farmed in Illinois for 52 years, and retired to St. Cloud, Minnesota in 1992.
She is survived by sons, Randall (Elnita) Siekman of Homer Glen, Illinois, Norman (the late Carol) Siekman of Cushing, Minnesota, and Marvin (Dawn) Siekman of Cold Spring, Minnesota, a sister, Emily Stelter of Country Club Hills, Illinois, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, daughter-in-law, Carol Siekman, brother and sister-in-law, Ernst and Viola Kampe, brother-in-law, William Stelter and her parents. |
