Wesley R. Ceynar, age 92, Sauk Centre, MN died Thursday, January 6, 2005 at St. Michael’s Nursing Home, Sauk Centre, MN.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 10, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the First Lutheran Church, Sauk Centre, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Sauk Centre, MN.
Wesley Ceynar was born August 22,1912 in Sauk Centre, MN to John and Ethel (Veeder) Ceynar. He married Cecelia Gritzmacher on April 9, 1944 in Sauk Centre, MN. Wesley farmed in Getty Township south of Sauk Centre his whole life. He was a member of First Lutheran Church. Wesley enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening, hunting, fishing, playing cards, family, especially his children and granddaughter, and all his friends at the nursing home.
Survivors include daughter, Linda (Gerard) Platz of Sauk Centre, MN; sister, Alice DeGree of Montevideo; and granddaughter, Laura Watson; nieces, nephew and other family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Cecelia; son, John Ceynar, and four sisters, Lois Ceynar, Ruth Ethan, Virginia Ceynar, and Vivian Ceynar.
Memorials are preferred to St. Michael’s Hospice or First Lutheran Church, Sauk Centre. |
