     Ellen I. Nappa, age 86, St. Cloud, MN died Friday, December 20, 2013 at Talahi Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, December 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, Sartell, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN, and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Order of Eastern Star Prayer Service will be 6:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clear Lake Cemetery, Clear Lake, MN.
     Ellen was born March 11, 1927 in Duluth, MN to Jacob “Jack” E. and Lisi M. (Koski) Laine. She married George Nappa on December 11, 1954 in Duluth, MN. The couple resided in Two Harbors until 1963 when they moved to St. Cloud. Ellen was employed by St. Cloud State University as a secretary for 26 years, retiring in 1992. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Sarah Circle, Order of Eastern Star St. Cloud Granite Chapter #5 and Two Harbors Emera Chapter #160. Ellen enjoyed traveling, whether near or far, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
     Survivors include two sons, Stephen (Jody) Nappa of Clear Lake, MN and Clifford G. Nappa of Mesquite, TX; four grandchildren, Stephanie, Derek, Matthew and Aaron; and two nieces, Sylvia Moore of Oklahoma and Jane Dilka of Colorado.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, George on May 27, 1992, and three infant grandchildren.
     In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to First United Methodist Church or Shriner’s Children's Hospital.
     Pallbearers will be her family.
