     Bernard “Ben” H. Hollermann, age 84, St. Joseph, MN died Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Assumption Nursing Home, Cold Spring, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Joseph, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Ben was born July 1, 1929 in Kettenkamp, Germany to Josef and Maria (Merse) Hollermann. In 1953 he moved to the United States. On December 27, 1955 Ben married Regina J. Brüwer at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in St. Wendel, MN. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and most of all spending time with his family. Ben was a devoted and loving husband, Dad and Opa.
     Survivors include his five children, Monica (Lon) Peterson of Spencer, IA; Norbert (Bonnie) Hollermann of Firestone, CO; Dorothy (Keith) Challes of Brooklyn Park, MN; John (Mary) Hollermann of Albertville, MN; Mary (Timothy) Thayer of Blaine, MN; sister, Agnes (Georg) Adler of Kettenkamp, Germany; and nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Amy, Kayla, Jonathan, Megan, Zachary, Rebecca, Jacob, and Alexander.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Regina on July 12, 2006, brother, Josef Hollermann, sisters, Elisabeth Plate and Sister Maria Hollermann, OSF.
     Pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
