     Donald John Stephany, age 85, St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, July 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Sunday, June 30, 2013 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Parish prayers will be at 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Donald was born May 1, 1928 in Pittsburgh, PA to Erwin J. and Irene (Forster) Stephany. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952. Donald married Elaine Bidinger on September 18, 1954. After her passing, Donald was united in marriage to Mary Ann Kosloske on August 16, 1991. He was employed by Granite City Redi Mix as office manager until his retirement in 1995. Donald was an active member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was a life member of St. Cloud VFW Post #428, and Waite Park American Legion Post #428. Donald volunteered at the St. Cloud Hospital and through RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program). Throughout his life he enjoyed, singing with the barber shop chorus, shooting pool, woodworking, dancing, playing cards, biking, flying his airplaine, and spending time with his family and friends.
     Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Stephany of St. Cloud; sons and daughters, Paul (Diane) Stephany of Brainerd; Dion (Daniel) Powers of St. Paul; Tom (Barbara) Stephany of St. Cloud; Michael (Stacy Price) Kosloske of Rockville; Cynthia (Michael) Dougherty of Eden Prairie; Michelle (Cheryl) Bender of Ramsey; sisters, Jean Stephany of Redwood Falls; Nancy Tetrick of Aitkin; 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Elaine, and son, Jeff “Kozzie” Kosloske.
     Memorials are preferred.
