     Raymond LeRoy Orstad, age 94, Elk River, MN, died Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Care Center, St. Cloud, MN.
     Funeral services will be Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 14501 Now Then Blvd., Ramsey, MN 55303. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Sunday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
     Raymond was born June 24, 1918 in Havre, MT to Carl & Lilly (Aamot) Orstad. He married Lorraine H. Hanson on March 24, 1944 in Washington, DC. Raymond served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He was employed by Control Data for 35 years.
     Survivors include daughter, Janet Cameron and son, Chuck (Kjia) Orstad, son-in-law, Eugene Quast, grandchildren: Sean (Ammy) Cameron, Karina (Jesse) Pabst, Josh Cameron, Sook (Jack) Bostelman, Jinae (Roshan) Boolchandani, Doug (Michelle) Melberg, Ray (Jennifer) Melberg, John Charles (Katie) Melberg, Charissa Rosser, Chase (Tara) Orstad, Cayle Orstad and Chressin Orstad; great grandchildren: Kody, Aubree, Tyler, Brayden, Chase, Brandon, Aashna, Ava, Amelie, Maddie, Libby, Alyssa, Brody, Aurora, North and Elle.
     He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lorraine on December 16, 2012, daughters, Mary Jo, Helen K. Quast and Marilynn J. Melberg, son-in-law, Kenn Cameron, grandson-in-law, Nathan Rosser, seven brothers, John, Harold, Carl, Ralph, Noble, T. Richard, Herbert, four sisters, Genevieve, Aagot, Lilly and Delores.
     Pallbearers will be his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
     Memorials are preferred.
