Amy Jo Gill, age 48, St. Cloud, MN, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN after a year long battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Sauk Rapids, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Amy was born June 15, 1964 in St. Cloud, MN to Leander F. and Judith (Haesecke) Gill. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1982. Amy was employed by Fingerhut for 20 years and the St. Cloud Hospital for 10 years. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her parents, Lee and Judy Gill of St. Cloud, MN; brother, Jim (Amy) Gill of Punta Gorda, FL; sister, Julee (Paul) Volkmuth of Coon Rapids, MN; and close friend, Sharon Mann of St. Cloud, MN.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Country Manor Health Care Center or Coborn’s Cancer Center.
The family would like to thank the St. Cloud Hospital staff and Amy’s coworkers and friends, the Coborn Cancer Center staff, and the Country Manor staff for their support and loving care of Amy.
