     Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud for Kandi Deppa who died Friday, November 26, 2004. Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service.
     Kandi was born August 6, 1959 to Terry and Viola (Knudsen) Flatt in Sacramento, California. As a young girl Kandi moved to Little Fork, MN and graduated from Little Fork High School in 1977. After high school she married Shawn Frank and they had 2 girls. They moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1987 where she had an additional daughter and son she always wanted. She went on to become a cosmotologist. She then moved to St. Cloud, MN in 1997 where she became a grandmother in 2000. On September 22, 2001 she was united in marriage to Gary Deppa in St. Cloud. She was employed by Great Clips, and Custom Eyes. She was also the personal stylist for many family and friends. She enjoyed fussing over her spoiled dogs, gardening, and listening to her canaries sing. She found joy in taking care of her family and extending her motherly love to many others. Kandi’s pride and joy were her kids and grandson.
     Kandi is survived by her husband, Gary Deppa of St. Cloud; children, Halli (Eric Klein) Frank of Richmond, MN, Laci Frank of St. Cloud, Jenna Frank, of St. Cloud, Keith Frank of St. Cloud; grandson, Chase Klein of Richmond, MN; parents, Terry and Viola “Tootsie” Flatt of Fort Wayne, Indiana; brothers, Rick (Candy) Flatt of Denver Colorado, Rory “Topper” Flatt of Fort Wayne, Indiana; sisters, Kari (Ken) Ford of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kitti (Mike) McCuler of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
     She was preceded in death by grandmother, Viola Nelson.
