     Alice Jeanette Kline, age 85, St. Cloud, MN, died Monday, April 8, 2013 at Quiet Oaks Hospice House, St. Augusta, MN.
     Funeral services will be Friday, April 12, 2013 at 9:00 AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, April 11, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN. Interment will be in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Columbarium.
     Alice was born March 12, 1928 in Abercrombie, ND to Edward and Alma (Granholt) Bolme. On May 2, 1952, Alice was united in marriage to Robert D. Kline at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Fargo, ND. Alice was employed as a bookkeeper at North Dakota State University before becoming a dedicated mother to seven children. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Alice was a talented artist with a passion for quilting. She also loved knitting, sewing, scrapbooking and rosemaling.
     In her retirement years, Alice spent time with her husband traveling in their motor home across the United States, eventually making their winter home in Texas. She spoke fondly of spending time at the local elementary school there helping children with their reading. Alice loved to travel and was always happy to recount her time spent in Norway and Ireland. Most of all, Alice loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
     Alice was known as a person who was accepting of everyone, no matter what their background, upbringing or beliefs.
     Survivors include her children, Kate Kline of New Brighton, MN; Jim Kline of St. Cloud, MN; John Kline of Rice, MN; Larry (Sandy) Kline of Minneapolis, MN; Steven (Tara) Kline of St. Cloud, MN; Curt (Amy) Kline of St. Paul, MN; and Laura (Bob) Bauer of Minneapolis, MN; sister, Hazel Orud of Fargo, ND; seven grandchildren, Noah Raden, Leah Kubesh, Michael and Kelsey Kline, Sara Kline, and Sophia and Jackson Bauer; and one great grandson, Mason Raden.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert on February 2, 2008; brothers, Phillip and Howard Bolme; daughter-in-law, Amy Kline; and grandson, Jesse Raden.
