Lloyd Herman Beneke, age 81, Long Prairie, MN, died Saturday, November 20, 2004 at his home.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Long Prairie, MN. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Long Prairie, MN.
Lloyd Beneke was born May 27, 1923 on White Oak Farm in Reynolds Township, Todd County, Minnesota to Frank and Helen (Jacob) Beneke. He married Ruth S. Nack on October 20, 1946 in Grafton, Iowa. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, Long Prairie, MN.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Long Prairie, MN; son, Joel Beneke of Long Prairie, MN; daughters, Brenda (Gary) Griess of Olympia, Washington; Naomi Walrath of Long Prairie, MN; sisters,Gertrude Oberg of Long Prairie, MN; Devona Schahn of Long Prairie, MN; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Wilma Clark.
