June Elaine Huberty, age 85, Sartell, MN, died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at Country Manor Health Care Center, Sartell, MN.
Funeral services will be Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Celebration Lutheran Church, Sartell MN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements were made by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
June was born April 6, 1927 in Gaylord, MN to Ervin and Florence (Lehmann) Briest. She married Melvin F. Huberty on August 6, 1949 at Brookfield Lutheran Church in Hector, MN. June was a registered nurse and family counselor. She worked at various Twin Cities hospitals and 4 years in Chester, MT, at a doctor’s office in Dassel, MN for 10 years, and most recently was employed as a family counselor at the St. Cloud Hospital and Recovery Plus for over 30 years. June enjoyed all types of crafts including painting, crocheting, cross stitch, and making cards and candles.
Survivors include her children, Gary (Patty) Huberty of Detroit Lakes, MN; Jeanine (Gordy) Anderson of Dassel, MN; Barbara (John) McNabb of Big Lake, MN; Kristy (Ken) Maehren of Clearwater, MN;14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Melvin on December 20, 2003; and brother, Clifford Briest. |
