Agnes Amelia Willms, St. Cloud, MN, died Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Rev. Dan Trout will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN in the summer.
Agnes was born February 8, 1929 in St. Paul, MN to Max and Dora (Gerres) Greve. She married Charles J. Willms on September 9, 1947 in St. Paul, MN. Agnes was a kennel owner and raised award winning English Springer Spaniels. She was a member of the Granite City Kennel Club.
Survivors include daughter, Janice (Steven) Johnson of Gainesville, GA; sons, Bruce (Deborah) Willms of Scandia, MN; Chad (Sally) Willms of Mena, AR; five grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Brookshire, Ian Willms, Sarah (Paul) Kraft, Daniel (Jennifer) Willms and Mary Willms; and three great grandchildren, Riley Brookshire, Hazel Willms and Nora Willms
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles, on December 27, 2009, step father, Robert Tessmer, and one sister, Bonnie Plankers.
The family would like to thank the Sherburne County Sheriff's Department, Gold Cross Ambulance, nurses, Jackie, Shana, Tanya and Christine; respiratory tech A.J., and Dr. Pelzel, Dr. Olson, and Dr. Suri for the care that they provided Agnes.
