     Alice Maryann Chirhart, age 90, Waite Park, MN, died Monday, October 22, 2012 at Sterling Park Health Care Center, Waite Park, MN.
     Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 10:00 AM Benson Funeral Home Chapel, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Parish prayers will be at 4:00 PM Friday at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud, MN.
     Alice was born July 15, 1922 in Avon, MN to Julius and Mary (Kuklok) Pierskalla. She married William “Bill” D. Chirhart on November 19, 1949 in St. Cloud, MN. During World War II Alice was employed by Boeing at their aircraft plant in California. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Winnebago Itasca Travelers Group and Northwoods Winnetaska. Alice’s hobbies included painting, ceramics and bird watching. She also enjoyed fishing and camping.
     Survivors include sons and daughter, Thomas L. (Jane) Chirhart of Stafford, VA; Charles H. (Doreen) Chirhart of St. Cloud, MN; Todd L. (Becky) Chirhart of Oshkosh, WI; Shelley A. Chirhart of Apple Valley, MN; six grandchildren, Paula and John Chirhart, Nicholas and Amanda Chirhart, and Sossina and Daria Chirhart; and great granddaughter, Amelie.
     She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill on September 11, 2008, grandson, Christopher, eight brothers and five sisters.
     Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association.
