Geraldine Erma Kopka, age 84, Albany, MN died Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the home of her daughter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Church of All Saints-St. Mary, Holdingford, MN. Visitation will be Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the church in Holdingford and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM Thursday at the church followed by Christian Mothers/Women prayer service at 5:30 PM. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls, MN. Funeral arrangements by Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN.
Geraldine was born August 8, 1928 in Krain Township, Stearns County, MN to Thomas and Marie (Schibilla) Kiley. She married Leonard H. Kopka on July 24, 1948 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Holdingford, MN. Geraldine was a member of Church of All Saints-St. Mary, Holdingford and Christian Mothers.
Survivors include sons and daughters, Leonard L. Kopka, Jr. of Rice, MN; Terrance M. (Barbara) Kopka of St. Cloud, MN; Lonnie T. (Tammy) Kopka of Big Lake, MN; Mary Jo (Arthur) Boelz of St. Cloud, MN; and Julaine (Marcio) Oliveira of Lake Elmo, MN; brother, LeRoy (Ann) Kiley of Bowlus, MN; ten grandchildren, Stacy Kopka, Kristen Fuchs, Tess Kopka, Brian Young, Dustin Young, Michael Young, Nathan Kopka, Chris Theis, Jovanna Oliveira and Ashton Oliveira; and five great grandchildren, Gavin, Colin, Elena, Ella and Landen.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard on April 4, 2012, brothers, Tom, Jr, Lloyd, Eugene and Lyle Kiley, and sisters, Lillian DeFoe, Beatrice Relbe and Darlene Kiley.
Pallbearers will be Brian Young, Dustin Young, Michael Young, Nathan Kopka and Ashton Oliveira.
