Lynne E. Hovda, age 57, St. Cloud, MN died Saturday, May 12, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, MN.
Funeral services will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Grace United Methodist Church, St. Cloud, MN. Visitation will be Friday, May 18, 2012 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral Home, St. Cloud, MN and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Pine River Cemetery, Richland Center, WI.
Lynne was born October 29, 1954 in Racine, WI to Myron Z. Hovda, Jr. and Virginia (Timian) Hovda. She graduated from Apollo High School and worked for Opportunity Services. Lynne was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. Her hobbies were clipping and filing coupons to use and share with others. Lynne enjoyed finding and saving recipes, dining out and walking with friends. A special gift of Lynne’s was remembering names and telephone numbers. Family gatherings were treasured events. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her mother, Virginia Hovda of St. Cloud, MN; brother, Myron (Cathy) Hovda of Woodbury, MN; sister, Leslie (Dutch) Dancer of Chaska, MN and four nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Myron Jr. on October 25, 1979, and two sisters, Laurie Ann Hovda on May 1, 1966 and Lisa Rae Hovda on November 11, 1970. |
